WHEREAS, Eric and Karla Thomsen (Permittee) have properly applied for a variance from the maximum cul -de -sac length prescribed in Section 117 -614, Subd. (c)(3) on the property generally located east of Rabbit Street at the eastern terminus of 171' Ave and legally described as follows: That part of the south 560 feet of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 8, Township 32, Range 25 lying west of the east 542 feet thereof; as • . . 1 . 1 " 1 • 1 1 1 • 1 - • . V " • . r "e .. 1 • - a easement of record, Anoka County, Minnesota Or upon platting and recording: Rabbit Meadows, Anoka County, Minnesota (the "Subject Property "); and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on July 10, 2014, conducted the public hearing and adopted Findings of Fact #0929 relating to the request for a variance from the maximum cul- de -sac length requirements on the Subject Property. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows 1. Based on Findings of Fact #0929, a variance to the 600 -foot cul -de -sac length, as established in Section 117 -614, Subd. (c)(3) of the Ramsey City Code, is hereby granted for the Subject Property. 2. The variance allows for a cul -de -sac to be constructed to a maximum length of 751 feet. 3. The Permittee shall be responsible for all City costs incurred in administering and enforcing this variance.
