August 28, 2014
Chris Anderson
City Planner
City of Ramsey
7550 Sunwood Dr NW
Ramsey, MN 55303
Chris,
I would like to make you and the planning committee aware of some additional information that I feel is
important to my variance request to the City of Ramsey. It is my intention to make an aesthetically
acceptable stick built building that will match the current appearance of the existing house. It is
important to me that I build a building that is not only visually acceptable to my neighbors but also is
built in a location that meets their approval. The location where I propose to build the new structure is
mainly level. The previous owner of the property leveled out the proposed area with intentions to build
and additional structure at some point. Since the area is already level there would be a very minimal
amount of impact to the existing earth features if a structure is to be built in that location. I am also
willing to put gutters on the structure with down spouts directed away from the river which would also
help prevent and runoff issues. I have spoken to the four immediate neighbors that surround our
property and they all agree that the proposed location of the proposed building is the optimal site for the
new building and that they support the variance.
I would like to thank you for your careful consideration. Please let me know if I can answer any
questions or help in any way. I look forward to our meeting on September 4tn
Sincerely,
Mike Musenbrock
Kim Barry
