We received the
notice of public hearing and have spoken to Mike about the variance that would put his proposed
garage closer to the river bluff and road right of way than code allows. He has indicated that he intends
to use conventional stick -built construction, matching the siding and roof color and style of the house,
and would also be willing to dress the front with some stonework matching what he has on the house.
The front setback of the garage would be roughly the same as the pool fence that faces the cul-de-sac.
As long as these features are incorporated, we will not raise any objection to granting the variances.
Thanks,
Bill Dorn
Wilbur F.
