Many folks are curious about the status of the Residence at The
COR— below is a snippet as to what is going on with our neighbors.
The City was notified a couple months back that The Residence at The COR may be up for sale.
The property is owned currently by Flaherty and Collins (F &C). F &C responded to the City's
inquiry and responded that they may sell the property, seek a partner in it or keep it— this isn't an
uncommon move for F &C. F &C is working with Cushman/NorthMarq on marketing the property
for sale. The City and HRA did financially play a role in the development of the project via three
notes —two of these notes, per the development agreement, would be payable in full should the
property be sold. The third note may be assigned to a new owner. In short, sale of The Residence
at The COR isn't necessarily a bad thing for the City. At last check, The Residence at The COR
posted 78% of units are rented at or above projected levels ahead of the projected schedule.
Our Mission: To work together to responsibly grow our community, and to provide quality, cost - effective, and efficient government services
