Todd Embury, Election Worker <br />Purpose/Background: <br />Purpose: Formally recognize cash donation from employee as required by Statute. <br />Per State Statute 465.03, if an employee chooses to donate his/her earnings, the following procedures need to be <br />followed: <br />1. Earnings must be paid to respective employee, in this case, Mr. J. Todd Embury, who was an election worker at <br />the Primary Election. <br />2. Earning donations must be receipted back into the city's account as a cash donation. <br />3. Council adopts, by resolution, authorizing the acceptance of the cash donation and noting where the donor would <br />like the funds donated. <br />Notification: <br />Mr. J. Todd Embury, has noted, per the attached letter, that he would like to donate his election judge earnings to <br />the city. <br />Observations/Alternatives: <br />Mr. Embury has donated his prior election judge earnings to the city and requested that they be placed in the Park <br />Trust Fund. The city will follow this precedent for this donation. <br />Action: <br />Motion to adopt Resolution #14-09-184 Accepting Cash Donation of Earnings from J.
