<br />Commissioner Tossey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION HRA #14-09-185 <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, on March 8, 2005, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #05-03- <br />072 to establish a Housing and Redevelopment Authority, in and for the City of Ramsey; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> , effective January 1, 2015 the Housing and Redevelopment Authority is to <br />be formally dissolved as per the City’s three-year strategic plan for an effective organization; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> , with the dissolution there will no longer be an HRA levy and the former <br />HRA levy/budget will be absorbed within the levies and budgets of the General Fund and <br />Economic Development Authority (EDA) <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF <br />COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY, IN <br />AND FOR THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1.That a HRA property tax, payable in 2015, be levied in the amount of $0 due to <br />the formal dissolution of the HRA effective January 1, 2015. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner <br />Riley upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Commissioner Tossey <br /> Commissioner Riley <br /> Chairperson Backous <br /> Commissioner Johns <br /> Commissioner Kuzma <br /> Commissioner LeTourneau <br /> Commissioner Strommen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />
