oRDINANCE NO. 03-$2 CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER - 5 OF THE RAMSEY CITY CODE, WHICH CHAPTER IS KNOWN AS THE "MUNICI- PAL REGULATIONS" CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE. AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 5.17 TO CHAPTER 5 OF THE RAMSEY CITY CODE, WHICH SECTION IS FNTI- TLED "CLANDESTINE DRUG LABS." The City of Ramsey Ordains: SECTION 1. SUMMARY ! The following is an official summary: of Ordinance #03-52 adding a Section.to' Chapter 5 of the Ramsey City Code enti- · tied "Municipal Regulations/' The adop- tion of this Ordinance adds Section 5.17 · "Clandestine Drug Labs". The purpose of this ordinance is to reduce public exposure to health risks where la~v enforcement authorities have deter- mined that hazardous chemicals from a suspected clandestine drug lab or associ-. ated dumpsite may exit..This Ordinance , establishes the responsibilities of the : property owner involving testing, cleanup, costs, and determination of property risks involving safe human occupancy of the site. EFFECTIVE DATE This Ordinance becomes effective upon its passage and thirty (30) days after its publication according to law, subject to City Charter Provision, Section 5.04.
