<br />Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #14-08-160 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #14-24; CENTER <br />STREET IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted June 10, 2014, <br />authorizing Hakanson Anderson to prepare plans and specifications with reference to Improvement <br />Project 14-24, Center Street Improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, the City of Ramsey has been awarded a Transit Oriented Development grant <br />for the engineering and construction of such improvements for an amount not to exceed $650,369; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, the improvements must be completed by December 31, 2015 in order for the <br />city to receive the awarded grant funds. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) The City Council hereby accepts the final plans and specifications prepared by Hakanson <br />Anderson for the making of such improvements, and authorizes the advertisement of bids <br />for the same improvements. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Johns and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Strommen <br />Councilmember Riley <br />Councilmember Johns <br />Councilmember Kuzam <br />Councilmember LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Tossey <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> <br />
