<br />2)That, the City of Ramsey accepts the Federal grant award of $490,000 dollars from the <br />National Park Service to be used as the local match to secure the balance of funding for the <br />Mississippi Skyway within years 2014 to 2017. <br /> <br /> <br />3)That, the City of Ramsey shall build an alliance of regional stakeholders to seek funding <br />for the skyway that is anticipated to cost between 2.6 to more than 3 million dollars for a <br />structure with a roof. <br /> <br /> <br />4)That approval of this Resolution does not obligate the City of Ramsey to build the <br />proposed Mississippi Skyway, nor allocate any monies to the proposed project. <br /> <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Riley, <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Strommen <br />Councilmember LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Riley <br />Councilmember Backous <br />Councilmember Kuzma <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />Councilmember Tossey <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Johns <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />th <br />27 day of May, 2014. <br /> <br /> <br /> Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #14-05-096 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
