Councilmember Tossey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #14-06-114 RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO DRYDEN EXCAVATING INC FOR PROJECT #13-15 VANADIUM STREET CULVERT REPLACEMENT WHEREAS, on October 22, 2013 the City received quotes for the replacement of a failing 48 inch round metal culvert which runs across Vadadium Street in the northeastern section of the City;and WHEREAS, the quote of Dryden Excavating Inc.in the amount of $32,455.16 for the total Vanadium Street Culvert Replacement was the lowest responsible quote. WHEREAS, as of June 24, 2014 $28,129.92 has been paid to date; and WHEREAS, the Engineering Technician IV has inspected the completed work and recommends final payment to Dryden Excavating Ing in the amont of $5,492.00. , NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1)That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to Dryden Excavating Inc for Improvement Project 13-15 in the amount of $5,492.00. 2)That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3)That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of June, 2013. 4)That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Riley and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Strommen Councilmember Tossey Councilmember Riley Councilemember Johns Councilmember Kuzma Councilmember LeTourneau
