Lighting. <br /> <br />Lighting used to illuminate an off-street parking area, sign or <br />structure, shall be arranged to deflect light away from adjacent~ <br />residential districts or public streets. Bulbs emitting in excess of <br />3000 lumens (150 watts) shall be directed so that the bulb is not <br />Visible from off the property.where ithe light source is located. <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> ArchiteCtural Standards. The purpose of this section is to encourage the <br /> development of high-quality, diverse multiple-dwelling structures in the <br /> City of Ramsev while permitting flexibility in the development process. <br />ii. General standards. The requirements in this section apply to all <br /> <br />multiple-dwelling structures, as defined under Permitted Uses in this <br />Section (Subd. 2a). <br /> The type of building materials used on exterior walls on all <br /> structures in the R-2 Residential District shall be face brick, natural <br /> <br />stone, stucco, aluminum, steel, or vinyl siding, wood, masonite <br />products, or other compatible residential materials that may be <br />approved bv the CiW. The exterior buildinz finish of multiple- <br /> <br />family buildines shall consist of a minimum of 50% face brick. <br />natural stone, or stucco. Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems <br /> <br />(EIFS) material is prohibited. <br /> <br />Multiple-family buildings facing major thorouahfares shall have <br />rear-loaded garages. <br /> <br />There should not be more than a one-story difference between a <br /> <br />multiple~family building and'adiacent structures, either on an <br />adjacent lot or across the street. The intent of this requirement is to <br />avoid large changes in building heid~t in close proximity. <br /> <br />iii. Architectural iDiversity. The intent of this section is to identify ways <br />to accomplish architectural diversiW between units in townhome <br />developments. <br /> <br />Townhome developments shall incorporate at least one substantial <br />change bem'een adiacent units to prevent architectural monotony. <br /> <br /> <br />
