City Council adopts the 2005 Proposed Municipal Budget; 2004, Payable 2005, Proposed Municipal Levy and sets the 2004 hearing dates for the 2005 Budget Public Heating(s). September 15 City certifies 2005 Proposed Municipal Budget; 2004, Payable 2005, Proposed Municipal Levy and two 2005 Budget Public Hearing dates. September/October Finance Committee and Council work sessions as needed. Sept 27-October 8 City Council work sessions on 2005 Goals, Objectives and 5-Year Departmental Plans. October 26 Finance Committee and City Council review and adopt 2005-2009 Capital Improvement Program. November 9 Finance Committee and City Council to review and adopt the 2005 Schedule of Rates, Fees and Charges. November 9 2005 Goals, Objectives and 5-Year Departmental Plans submitted to City Council for adoption. November 8-19 County mails notice of proposed property taxes for payable 2005. November 29 - December 26 Public Heating(s) on Final 2005 Municipal Budget and Levy Adopt 2005 Municipal Budget and Final 2004, Payable 2005 Levy December 29 Final levy certification to County auditor and certification of compliance with Truth in Taxation requirements to the Department of Revenue. _ NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF .MINNESOTA, that the City Council of Ramsey hereby approves the 2005 Budget Calendar. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adop[ed by the Ramsey City Council this the 13th day of January, 2004.
