Motion camed. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Elvig, Cook, Kurak, Pearson, <br />and Strommen. Voting No: Councilmember Zimmerman. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman stated that he was opposed because of his concerns of the private <br />road. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec recessed the regular meeting of the City Council at 9:12 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council back to order at 9:19 p.m. <br /> <br />Case #11: Report from the Personnel Committee <br /> <br />The Perso~mel Committee met earlier in the evening to discuss the following cases: <br /> <br />1) Consider Resolution Amending the Policy for Appointing Board and Commission <br /> Members <br />The Personnel Committee recommended amending the Policy for Appointing Board and <br />Commission members so that an existing member would submit a letter requesting that they be <br />reappointed. The Council would either accept or reject the member's request. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to adopt Resolution <br />#03-12-323 amending the Policy for Appointing Board and Commission Members. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Pearson, Kurak, Cook, Elvig, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />2) Consider Resolution Reappointing EDA Member <br />The Personnel Committee recommended that John Letoumeau be re-appointed to the EDA for a <br />four-year term expiring December 31, 2007. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to adopt Resolution.#03- <br />12-324 reappointing John LeTourneau to the EDA. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Kurak, Elvig, Cook, Pearson, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />3) Consider Appointment to the Environmental Policy Task Force <br />The Personnel Committee recormnended that Greg Bauer be appointed to the Environmental <br />Policy Task Force and that Michael Rolfe be appointed as an alternate. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to Adopt Resolution <br />#03-12-325 appointing Greg Bauer to the EPTF. <br /> <br />City Council/December 9, 2003 <br /> Page 19 of 23 <br /> <br />-41- <br /> <br /> <br />
