PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council was held on Tuesday, May 8, <br />1984 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Tom Gamec <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Sue Van Wagner <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Jean Schlueter <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Building Official Clayton Berg <br />Mr. Larry Koshak of Hakanson/Anderson Engineering <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Reporter Carolyn Thompson (dismissed from meeting at 7:30 p.m.) <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Gary Reimann called the meeting to order at 7:06 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Bob Nix - 16951 Sodium - Stated that there are problems with 3-wheelers in his <br />area. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec replied that he is opposed to having to create an ordinance banning <br />the use of dirt bikes, snowmobiles and 3-wheelers, but if the few that are <br />abusing those privileges continue to d© so, those recreational activities will <br />have to be shut down. Mayor Gamec recommended that Mr. Nix contact the Ramsey <br />Police Department regarding ~Pecific offenders he is aware of. <br /> <br />Mr. Nix inquired if the City has come up with any suggestions for a project <br />for his Eagle Scout Troop. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that he discussed She matter with Public Works Superintendent <br />Mevisson and he does have onw or two projects in mind. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec also noted that a presentation to an Eagle Scout by Council is <br />on the Council agenda for May 24, 1984 at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Mr. Berg stated he had 3 items to add to the agenda; signalization at Hwy. 10 and <br />County Road 56, approval of election judges and authorization for City Attorney <br />to acquire drainage easement from Norm Holm. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that the attorney for NDH, Inc. has requested that Case ~1 <br />(Flintwood Hills Second Addition PUD Requiring Council Action) be deleted from <br />the agenda. <br /> <br />C/May 8, 1984 <br />Page 2 of 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
