Case #2: <br /> <br />Request By Stage Door Angelettes TO Exchange Gifts From The City <br />Of Ramse¥ With A City In S~ain: <br /> <br />Lorraine Nedry was present and stated that the Stage Door Angelettes have <br />been invited to represent the United States at "Fiesta Spain 1984". It is <br />the intent of the Angelettes to present a gift from each of the cities <br />represented in the Angelettes to the hosting city in Spain. Ms. Nedry <br />requested a simple gift donation from the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Council consensus is to provide the Angelettes with a Ramsey City Flag, <br />a Ramsey History book and a letter from the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Case #3: Mr. Bill Dor~ Regarding Rum River Hills Planned Unit Development: <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that Mr. Dorn is requesting a public hearing be conducted <br />at Council's meeting scheduled for May 24, 1984. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Reimann <br />to set a public hearing date of May 24, 1984 at 7:30 p.m. regarding vacating <br />that land designated as "Park"'within the Plat of White Pines Estates and <br />that notification of said public hearing be published in the official <br />newspaper. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #4: Planner (Urban Economic Development Planner): <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Schlueter to <br />authorize the following in creating and filling the position of Urban Economic <br />Development Planner: <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />Authorize the Council Personnel Committee to prepare job description <br />and a salary range for the position of Urban Economic Development <br />Planner. <br /> <br />b) Authorize the City Administrator to advertise for the position opening. <br /> <br />c) Appoint selection committee consisting of the following persons: <br /> <br />1) Council Personnel Committee <br />2) City Administrator <br />3) Planning Commission Chairman <br />4) Park and Recreation Commission Chairman <br />5) Economic Development Commission Chairman <br /> <br />Further, this Committee would submit to Council three names ranked in order. <br />Names of all applicants would be available for Council review if requested. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #6: S.ignalization At Hwy. 10 and County Road #56: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Mayor Gamec to adopt <br />Resolution #84-81 to enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota <br />and Anoka County and to expend $3,539.06 for signalization at County Road <br /> <br />C/May 8, 1984 <br />Page 4 of 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
