Case #1: Vehicle Towin~ Contract For City Of RamSey: <br /> <br />Mr. ClereJ~ont of Taylor~s Towing was present and if the'City puts out bids <br />for towing service and what are the requirements of tbs biddi~ng.~ <br /> <br />Chief"of Police Auspos replied that the City has never been'asked'to go on <br />a bid basis but he did draft some requirements to be Used'~hould Council <br />decide to go for towing service on a bid basis-. <br /> <br />Judy Rohle - 17100 Bison Street -. Representing North. Stam Towing ~. Stated <br />North Star has been towing for Ramsey for 4% years and added'that she <br />prefers not to enter into a contract as they are too binding and f~ee' <br />enterprise allows for the best service. <br /> <br />Council consensus is that as long as the current service is satisfactory~ <br />the City can seen no reason to open towing service to bids at this-time, <br /> <br />Case #3: Request For Vacating Of Drainage Easement On Lot'12, Bl~ck <br /> Oakrid~e Estates; Case Of F.H. Enter~rlse~: <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka stated that this drainage easement was drawn in <br />without considering the high land on the lot, without following the contours <br />of the land and considering that this high land will never flood~ Mr. Raatikka <br />stated that a .drainage easement here is not doing the City any. good. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmembe~ Sorteberg to <br />adopt Resolution #84-76 correcting drainage easement on Lot 12, Block 4, <br />Oakridge Estates. (Please refer to resolution file for Resolution ~84~76i. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #4: Cable T.V. Regarding Ratgs: <br /> <br />Council took no action on this case as the City has not yet'~eceiV~d any <br />material from Mr. Creighton. <br /> <br />Case #6: Request To Subdivide B~ Metes And Bounds; Case Of Mr, T~omas 'Holker: <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle stated that Mr. Holker is requesting authorization to Subdivide <br />by metes and bounds a 13 acre parcel which is located on Sunfish. Lake Blvd. <br />NW just south of County Road #5. Mr~ Schnelle stated'that Ramsey~s <br />Comprehensive Plan limits development to 1 unit/10 acres-and Mr. Holker <br />already has one unit on the parcel. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka informed~r. Holker that the Comprehensive Plan was adopted in <br />March of 1982. <br /> <br />Mr. Holker stated that in July or August of 1983 the Planning Commission <br />approved a lot split as shown on the survey and since then he has entered <br />into two separate purchase agreements thinking the subdivision'would pass <br />right through. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that the Planning Commission Only..advises <br />Council. Mr. Goodrich stated that Mr. Holker could request a zoning <br />amendment and approach Planning and Zoning with it. <br /> <br />Mr. Holker stated if this change messes up two more sales for him, he will <br />see the City in court. <br /> <br />C/April 24, 1984 <br /> Page 15 of 20 <br /> <br /> <br />
