Further, to authorize <br />the City Administrator to accept the lowest or best price quote. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Reimann suggested that the City should <br />be able to get some volunteer labor from the 23 ball teams. Mayor Gamec <br />stated they are pressed for time to get their league and teams in operation <br />and playing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Schlueter, Reimann <br />and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Sorteberg. <br /> <br />Case #5: <br /> <br />Appointin$ Of A Councilmember To Serve On A Joint Highway Task <br />Force (Ramsey, Anoka, Cham~lin and Dayton) To Study LongLTerm <br />Needs Regardin~ Traffic On T.H. 169: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />adopt Resolution #84-71 appointing Councilmember Sorteberg to serve on the <br />Joint Highway Task Force (Ramsey, Anoka, Champlin and Dayton) to study <br />transportation needs on certain highways. (Please refer to resolution file <br />for Resolution #84-71). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Schlueter, Reimann <br />and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Sorteberg. <br /> <br />Case ~6: A~roval Of Fire..Contract Between The. City Of Ramse~And City Of <br /> Anoka: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />approve of the 1984 fire contract between the City of Ramsey and City of <br />Anoka. Further, to authorize the Mayor and City Administrator to sign said <br />contract. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Schlueter and <br />Reimann. Voting No: Councilmember Van Wagner. Absent: Councilmember <br />Sorteberg. <br /> <br />MAYOR/COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that he and City Attorney Goodrich will be meeting with <br />Waste Management regarding the landfill contract. The Waste Management <br />Corporate office will be submitting a request for a conditional use permit. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that during the past week he has received a numerous <br />amount of comments regarding a survey dealing with on-site septic systems <br />and that he knew nothing of this survey. Mayor Gamec stated that he did <br />find out that this survey was conducted by Councilmember Schlueter. Mayor <br />Gamec commented that the idea behind the survey was good but that Council- <br />member should have used common courtesy and let the other Councilmembers <br />know that she was conducting such a survey. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br /> <br />Sp C/April 17, 1984 <br /> Page 7 of 8 <br /> <br /> <br />
