MAYOR/COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that Mr. Schnelle and Ms. Moen are requesting a <br />letter of intent from Teleterminals covering certain future software additions. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />approve of a letter of intent, authorizing Mayor and City Administrator to sign <br />this letter of intent on behalf of the City of Ramsey, and that letter of intent <br />is as follows: <br /> <br /> "Tele-Terminals <br /> 7008 Northland Drive <br /> Minneapolis, MN 55428 <br /> <br /> RE: Computer Software Development <br /> <br /> Gentlemen: <br /> <br /> As partial consideration for the City of Ramsey purchasing from you certain <br /> computer hardware and related software, which purchase was approved by the <br /> Ramsey City Council at its February 28, 1984 meeting, your firm agrees to <br /> provide the following items on the estimated time schedule and cost as noted <br /> below. <br /> <br />S-NMS-SIDX Street Indexing 4th Quarter 84 $2,000.00 <br />S-NMS-SPDX Special Assessments 4th Quarter 84 * <br />S-NMS-PTDX Property Tax Assessing 4th Quarter 84 * <br />S-NMS-FADX Fixed Assets 4th Quarter 84 * <br />S-NMS-ECDX Equipment Control 4th Quarter 84 * <br /> <br />*Not to exceed $4,000 for each application. <br /> <br /> In addition to the above, you agree to work and consult with the City relating <br /> to the development of additional computer applications such as microfilm <br /> reader, city planning and public works. The cost to the City and timetable <br /> for these additional applications will be negotiated and agreed upon by the <br /> City and Tele-Terminals at the time an order is placed. <br /> <br /> The signature below of Tele-Terminals' authorized representative shall bind <br /> Tele-Terminals to the contents of this letter agreement" <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner. Votinq No: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Sorteberg noted a couple of errors in the 1st Quarter 1984 Sales <br />Ratio Chart, particularly the total selling price for Items 5 and 6 on page 2. <br />Councilmember Sorteberg cautioned against getting too excited over the figures <br />in the report; that there might be other discrepancies in the report also. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Schlueter to <br />adjourn this regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
