the celebration is August 25, 1984.

City Attorney Goodrich pointed out that 1984 is Ramsey's 100th anniversary as
a township.

Mayor Gamec thanked Mr. Anderson for the awards presented. Advised Mr. Anderson
to come up with basic plans for the celebration and to work with the City
Administrator on it and them come back to Council with those plans.

Gary Dovel - Stated that he and his wife are in the process of purchasing
20 acres in Ra~sey, at County Road #63 and County Road ~83. He stated that
10 acres of that land is being purchased under contract for deed and
therefore the parcel must be filed as two separate properties. Mr. Dovel
is requesting a variance to have the land classified as agriculture; being
classified agriculture requires 20 acres. Mr. Dovel commented that he does
raise horses and this is what he intends to use the property for.

Mayor Gamec stated that he has talked with Mr. Berg regarding this case and
it will be considered a subdivision off of a parcel.

City Attorney Goodrich advised Mr. Dovel to approach Planning and Zoning
with his request.

Bea Brown - 6511 170th Avenue - Stated that she is a member of Chemical People
Task Force of Ramsey and they are hosting a party on March 16, 1984.
Plans for that evening are refreshments, speakers, films and booths on
chemical awareness. Requested financial assistance from the City for this
event.

Mayor Gamec stated that the Chemical Task Force is a very interesting program
and the party should be well publicized. There is a City fund available for
things like this and the upcoming P~msey 10th anniversary celebration; that
fund will have to be reviewed before making any commitments.

Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilme~ber Reimann to
to add this request from the Chemical Task Force to the Council Agenda as
Case #14 under Council New Business.

Motion carried. Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Reimann, Schlueter
and Sorteberg. Voting No: None.

APPROVAL OF AGENDA

Councilmember Schlueter stated that she would like to discuss the possible
inclusion of an Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) into the P.U.D.
Ordinance.

Mayor Gamec requested that Councilmember Schlueter bring EAW up for discussion
during Mayor/Council Input.

Councilmember Van Wagner stated that she would like to discuss Shoreland
Classification.

Mayor Gamec requested that Councilmember Van Wagner bring Shorelands up
for discussion during Mayor/Council Input.

C/February 28, 1984
