Councilmember Reimann stated that the lawsuit settlement should not be discussed <br />but information regarding the methane project should be given. There should <br />be a mutual agreement between Ramsey and Anoka not to discuss anything that is <br />not signed yet. <br /> <br />Councilmember Van Wagner stated that the contract looks very good and why jeopardize <br />it by making press statements before the negotiations are finalized. <br /> <br />Councilmember Sorteberg agreed. <br /> <br />Councilmember Sorteberg brought up the Watershed Project for discussion and <br />stated that it is a very complicated issue. The immediate problem is how to <br />parcel out the costs of the plan. This formula could be based on city valuation, <br />city acreage or city population. The nine municipalities involved vary greatly <br />with respect to valuation, acreage and population. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Schlueter and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to <br />adjourn this special meeting of the Ramsey City Council. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Schlueter and Van Wagner.
