City Planner Anderson advised that the September meeting date would fall on Labor Day and <br />suggested that meeting be canceled with plans to hold a joint meeting with the City Council in <br />September. <br />• Receive General Development, Planning Commission and Policy Update <br />Community Development Director Gladhill noted that there has been substantial construction <br />activity within the City in the past two years and explained that this is an opportunity for the <br />Board to ask questions. He confirmed that McDonald's does own property but plans to coincide <br />their opening with the opening of the Armstrong interchange. He provided additional <br />information regarding purchase agreements in place within the City and specifically within the <br />COR, as well as development interest and desire. <br />• Discuss Final Details for Environmental Update <br />City Planner Anderson reported that the event is set for September 6 so this would be the last <br />opportunity for the Board to discuss any final details. <br />Board Member Hiatt stated that they plan to build onto the display board that was created the <br />previous year. He advised that they were unable to secure the keynote speaker previously <br />mentioned. <br />City Planner Anderson stated that this would also be the opportunity for the Board Members to <br />setup specific shifts for the booth to ensure coverage during the timeframe of noon to 7:00 p.m. <br />He confirmed that he does have bags to giveaway as well as a potential for mini LED flashlights. <br />Board Member Bentz stated that the booth may not need more than one person at the booth at a <br />time because there is not a survey or interactive measures this year. <br />Chairperson Stodola stated that it would be beneficial to have more than one person during the <br />first and last shifts for setup and cleanup. <br />City Planner Anderson recommended that the first shift arrive 20 minutes early in order to setup <br />the displays. <br />Board Member Hiatt suggested two -hour timeframes for coverage. <br />City Planner Anderson confirmed that he will email a signup sheet to the Board Members. <br />6. BOARD / STAFF INPUT <br />City Planner Anderson had nothing further to report. <br />7.
