Motion failed. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Schlueter and Reimann. Voting No: <br />Mayor Heit~an, Councilm~nbers Cox and Sorteberg. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Heitman and seconded by Councilrmamber Cox to direct City Staff <br />to conduct a research on the plan presented and alternatives to what was being <br />presented concerning what negative test results would mean and possible <br />solutions. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilm~nbers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: ~I~ <br /> <br />A. Consideration Of 167th Avenue NW- <br /> <br />Council tabled until July 23, 1985. <br /> <br />B. Lighting _Study_ For Central Park- <br /> <br />Council tabled until July 23, 1985. <br /> <br />Case ~4: Reducing _Speed Limit On 170th Lane NW In Brook View Estates; <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox stated that according to Mr. Mevissen's letter, 170th is <br />posted for 3 0 m.p.h. <br /> <br />Mr. Sc~uelle stated that the citizens want 'Children At Play' signs posted; if <br />the City does this, the City would have to pay back the State signing grant <br />money it received. <br /> <br />Mr. Mevissen stated that Brook View's parking lot should be cabled and locked <br />24 hours a day; there are a lot of outsiders coming into the park and abusing <br />it. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Heitman and seconded by Councilmember COx directing Mr. <br />Mevissen to cable and lock Brook View Park. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilm~mber Reimann stated that he does not want to <br />penalize those citizens that use the park during the day. <br /> <br />Amendment by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Cox to include <br />that Central and Titterud Park also be cabled and that the 3 parks will be <br />locked at 10:00 p.m. <br /> <br />~endment carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilm~mbers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter.
