Mr. Kent Richey of O' Connor and Harman was present and stated that any changes <br />to the Tax Increnent Plan, after it has been adopted, would require a hearing. <br />To have an area certified into an established plan takes about 6 weeks. <br /> <br />Mr. Schnelle noted that the area to which Councilm~nber Cox is referring is an <br />unplatted area; during platting there would adequate time to have it included <br />in the Tax Financing District. <br /> <br />Council consensus is to table further discussion of this case until Ms. Arlan <br />Waelti can be present to answer questions. Further, that City Staff should <br />contact Ms. Waelti to set up a meeting time. <br /> <br />Nancy Lee Roberts of Evensen Dodge was present and requested that her office be <br />nofitifed of the meeting date and time to discuss tax increment financing. <br /> <br />1. (Please refer to <br />resolution file for Resolution #85-136). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmenbers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimannand Schlueter. Amendment To Joint Powers Aqreement To F~tab~ish Lower Rum River <br /> Watershed Management Organization: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilm~mber COx and seconded by Councilm~mber Sorteberg to rescind <br />Council's authorization of contract presented on this same subject on June 11 <br />and approve of the amended Joint Powers Agreement to Establish Lower Rrm River <br />Watershed Management Organization as presented to Council on July 23, 1985. <br />Further, to authorize the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk to sign the above <br />stated amended Joint Powers Agre~ent. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
