Further Discussion: Mr. Schnelle stated that he will not <br />approve seminar attendance unless it has come before <br />Council. Mayor Hei~man stated that the resolution gives <br />the authority to the City Administrator. Councilm~mber <br />Schlueter stated that she has no probl~ with the City <br />Administrator granting seminar attendance approval, but <br />that attendance should be justified in a mamo to Council. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilma~bers <br />Sorteberg and Schlueter. Voting No: Councilm~mbers Cox <br />and Reimann. <br /> <br />Councilmember Gox referred to Mayor Heitman and Ms. <br />Haapala's trip to New York to get a bond rating upgrade and <br />stated that he feels that trip qualified as an out-of-State <br />seminar and attendance should have been approved at a <br />Council meeting rather than by telephone. <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman stated that the trip was not a seminar and a <br />quorun did not disapprove attendance. <br /> <br />Motion by Gouncilm~mber Cox and seconded by Councilm~mber Sorteberg to adjourn <br />the special Council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
