PROCEEDINGS OF CITY OOUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> ANOVA GOUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Comcil conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, September 10, <br />1985 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota regarding vacation of Old. C.S.A.H. #5 in front of Lord of Life <br />Lutheran Church. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Heitman <br />Counciln~mber AL Sorteberg <br />Councilme~ber Arnie Cox <br />Councilme~ber Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Jean Schlueter <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Assessor Lester Wirz <br />City Planner Anne Norris <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />City Raatikka Peter Raatikka <br />Reporter Angela Flint <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman called the public hearing to order at 7:42 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. Douglas Fountain - 15255 Garnet Street - Mr. Fountain stated that once the <br />property is vacated, Lord of Life and an adjoining property will divide the <br />property. Request Council approve this vacation as it will result in the <br />Church being able to maintain a visible site frcm Nowthen Blvd. <br /> <br />Councilme~ber COx inquired if Mr. Fountain is speaking on behalf of the Church. <br /> <br />Mr. Fountain replied that he was not designated by the Church to speak to this <br />matter; he is speaking as a private citizen and member of the Church. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilm~mber Sorteberg to adjourn <br />the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br />Reimann and Schlueter.
