Mr. Bunes suggested that a <br />noise level test be run during the races this year. Councilmember Cox stated <br />that if the noise continues to be a problem, he guarantees the sand races will <br />be shut down next year. <br /> <br />Councilmember COx amended his motion to include that the Ramsey Lions be <br />required to post a $500.00 for litter clean-up; that traffic on 149th will be <br />controlled; and that the Lions Club will have a difficult time getting sand <br />race approval next year if the problems mentioned are not corrected. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann seconded the amendment to the motion. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: City Attorney Goodrich noted that this approval for a <br />temporary conditional use permit would not be illegal without a findings of <br />fact, but Council should adopt some.
