Introduction Of Ordinance #85-4, An Ordinance Amending Ordinance #84-13 <br /> Regardinq Cit_v Funds - <br /> <br />Council noted the introduction of proposed Ordinance #85-4 to establish a <br />"Landfill Abatement Fund #225"; the Ordinance will be submitted to Council on <br />April 23, 1985 for adoption. <br /> <br />Case ~4: Planning: <br /> <br />A. Request For Temporary Conditional Use Permit For Circus; Case Of Ramse_v <br /> Ja_vcees - <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to adopt <br />Findings of Fact 0100 for Ramsey Jaycees' request for a conditional use permit <br />to sponsor a circus on June 8, 1985 at Gateway North Industrial Airport. <br />(Please refer to findings of fact file for Findings of Fact 0100). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to approve <br />the request by the Ramsey Jaycees for a t~mporary conditional use permit to <br />sponsor a circus on June 8, 1985. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: City Attorney Goodrich suggested that Council require the <br />Jaycees to post a bond to insure that the site will be cleaned up after the <br />circus. Councilmember Sorteberg stated that considering the Jaycees past <br />performance, he doesn't feel requiring a bond for clean up is necessary. <br />Councilm~m~er Cox noted that Council recently require the Ramsey Lions to post <br />a bond for clean up purposes for the sand races. Jaycee president, Dale <br />McKnight stated that he is not opposed to posting a bond. Councilmember <br />Sorteberg noted that the Lions sand race location is adjacent to a residential <br />neighborhood and the Jaycee circus is not. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox amended the motion to include that the Ramsey Jaycees will <br />be required to provide the City with a $200 security deposit to insure that <br />the site is properly cleaned up after the circus. Councilmember Sorteberg <br />seconded the amendment to the motion. <br /> <br />Amendment carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, COx, <br />Reimann and $chlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case ~5: Sale Of Surplus Squad Car~ <br /> <br />Council unanimously consented to dispense with the reading of the resolution. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Schlueter to <br />adopt Resolution ~85-79 declaring the 1982 Ford squad car surplus and <br /> April 9, 1985 <br /> <br />Page 12 of 14 <br /> <br /> <br />
