Discussion Of Cit_v Cemeteries - <br /> <br />Councilm~m~er Cox stated that he has been approached by certain residents who <br />are concerned with the status of c~meteries in Ramsey. <br /> <br />Council and Staff consensus is that the cemetery issue does need some <br />research. <br /> <br />Motion by coUncilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilm~mber Reimann <br />directing Councilmember Cox to form and chair a Cemetery Committee. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Cox directed Council Secretary to see that <br />the forming of the City Cemetery Committee is advertised in the City <br />Newsletter. <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman amended the motion to include that the Cemetery Committee should <br />report back to Council within 6 months after formation. Councilmember <br />Sorteberg seconded the amendment to the motion. <br /> <br />Amendment carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, COx, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox requested that City Staff notify the following concerned <br />residents, by letter, that a Cemtery Committee is being formed: <br /> <br />Harold Stoesz <br />Harold Hunt <br />Elmer Schwab <br />Lawrence Keillor <br />Allan and Alice Koenig <br /> <br />B.
