Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilm~mber Sorteberg to refer this case back to the Landfill Ad Hoc Committee for recomendations regarding the use of Landfill Trust Money. Further Discussion: Councilmember Schlueter noted that this case is proposing to transfer $50,000 frG~ the Landfill Trust Fund to the Park Fund for bleachers and lighting at Central Park. Mr. DeLuca stated that as one m~mber of the Landfill Committee, he does not object to the City use of landfill money for park development but a limit should be placed on the amount that can be spent in order for that principal amount to maintain growth. Councilma~ber Schlueter inquired as to Council's last decision made regarding bleachers at Central Park as this motion would also delay action regarding bleachers. Mr. Schnelle replied that Council did adopt a Long Term Financial Plan and 1985 Operational Budget which propose to transfer money from the Landfill Trust Fund to Parks for bleachers and lighting. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox and Schlueter. Voting No: None. Mr. Donovan noted that the Council agenda quotes a figure of $1,700 for bleachers and that he doesn't know where that figure came from because 4 bleachers were proposed at a oost of approximately $1,200 each. Council unanimously consented to dispense with the reading of the resolution. Motion b3 Councilm~nber COx and seconded by Councilm~mber Schlueter to adopt Resolution #88-83a approving the transfer of funds from the Landfill Trust Fund to the Park Fund for the purchase of two sets of bleachers as authorized by the 1985 City Operational Budget in Resolution #84-256 and by the Long Term Financial Plan in Resolution #84-257. (Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #85-83 Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Mayor Reimann, Councilm~mbers Sorteberg, Cox and Schlueter. Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Heitman. Case #14: Request For Tempo_ rary_ Beer License: Case of Anoka County Pheasants Forever Chapter: Motion by Councilmamber Cox and seconded by Councilm~mber Sorteberg to approve granting the Anoka County Pheasants Fore~er Chapter a temporary beer license from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on May 5, 1985 at the St. Anthony Gun Club, Ramsey. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, COx and Schlueter. Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Heitman.
