Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Mayor Heitman to approve <br />informational City Council meeting minutes dated April 30, 1985 regarding tax <br />incr~ent financing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Mayor Heitman to approve <br />special City Council meeting minutes dated May 14, 1985 with the following <br />corrections and clarifications: <br /> <br /> 1. Correction - Page 6 - Paragraph 6 - Change to read as follows: · <br /> 'Mr. Walton (Bud) Sauter and Mr. Thomas Sauter were present.'~ <br /> <br />2. Correction - Page 8 - Paragraph 7 - First Line - Change to read as <br /> follows: 'Further Discussion: Mr. Thomas Sauter referred to Item ~2 <br /> in the proposed', o_~- <br /> <br />3. Correction - Page 14 - Paragraph 12 - Add the following sentence: <br /> 'Councilmember Cox also indicated that he didn't know the Charter <br /> Co~mission was conducting a meeting because it didn' t appear the <br /> (bn~ission had enough members present for a quorum. Mayor Heitman referred to Page 17 - 1st Paragraph - Last Sentence - <br /> and stated that the phrase 'at this time' should be inserted after <br /> phrase 'overly enthusiastic on protesting'. <br /> <br />Councilmember COx stated that he doesn't recall Mayor Hei~an's <br />recorded comments on Page 17 as being any different than what is <br />recorded. <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman referred to Page 17 - 1st Paragraph - Last Sentence - <br />and stated that the phrase 'if this offer is made to the police <br />department, it would have to be accepted in order for him to be <br />satisifed;' should have read as followsw: 'if this offer is made to <br />the police department and it is accepted, he would be satisfied that <br />that the City negotiated in good faith;' <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman referred to Page 17 - 1st Paragraph - Last Sentence - <br />and stated that the phrase 'if it goes to arbitration, Council has <br />lost the opportunity to register a complaint.' should have read as <br /> May 28, 1985 <br /> <br />Page 8 of 31 <br /> <br /> <br />
