Stan Data, Duke
Addicks and Rhonda Heryla were three people mentioned at that time.

Discussion ensued. Clerk Thieling informed the Commission that Rhonda Heryla was no longer at the
City. Duke Addicks is from the League of Minnesota Cities and should be available to the Commission.
Chairperson Vogt knows Stan Data personally and would talk to him about some training/history for the
Commission. It was also noted that former member Keith Kiefer was very knowledgeable with regard
to the Charter. Commissioner LaMere inquired if the training would be a work session or a regular
meeting. Chairperson Vogt suggested making it a work session instead.

2) Thank you

Commissioner Deemer thanked Councilmember A1 Pearson for attending the Charter Commission
meeting.

The Charter Commission asked that a letter of thanks be sent to former Charter Commissioner Barry
Childs.

ADJOURNMENT

Motion by Commissioner Milless and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to adjourn the meeting.

Motion carried.

The regular meeting of the Charter Commission adjoumed at 8:50 p.m.

Respectfully/sub/nlttCd,,.

Charter Commission - January 16, 2003
