Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmmmber Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />approve of Construction Consultants' request for site plan review of an <br />office/retail/manufacturing facility for Blue Max, Inc. contingent upon the <br />applicant agreeing to the oonditions specified in the develot~uent permit. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, COx, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Council recessed at 9:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the meeting back to order at 9:13 p.m. <br /> <br />~ Review RevisedConditional Use Permit Agreement: Case Of Mr. <br /> <br />Mr. Root was present and stated that he is in agreement with the revised <br />conditonal use permit. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />approve the revised conditional use permit for Mr. Gerald Root to operate <br />an automobile sales and repair business at 14700 Nowthen Blvd. N.W. <br />Further, that Item #9 of the conditional use permit will specify that a <br />'minimum of six parking spaces and the driveway' shall be surfaced with a <br />minimt~n of four (4) inches of traprock and Item #10 shall specify that no <br />outside business will be conducted on Sundays. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Discuss Future Plans For Industrial/Business Sewer And Water: <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that he met with EDC on February 18 to review two new <br />alternate alignments for providing sewer and water to the Industrial area. <br />Alternate #1 would provide service to the intersection of Industry Avenue <br />and Sunfish Lake Blvd. with a Hwy. #10 crossing at Tungsten Street. <br />Alternate #2 would provide service to Industry and Sunfish Lake Blvd. with <br />a Hwy. #10 crossing at Sunfish Lake Blvd. The water alternative would <br />provide service to the intersection of Industry and Sunfish as Phase I and <br />Phase II would extend water service across Hwy. #10. EDC has recommended <br />proceeding with Alternative #2, Phase 1 and 2 for sewer service and <br />Alternative #1, Phase 1 for water service. Mr. Hartley is working on <br />revised estimates of tax increment revenues which can be generated by the <br />tax increment district. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox inquired if the people in the Tungsten area are aware of <br />these new alternatives. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka replied that some members of EDC felt that affected <br />property cwners should be contacted prior to making a recommendation to <br />Council but the final vote was to proceed with a recommendation.
