Voting No: None. <br /> <br />~ Rmquest For Conditional Use Permit To Manufacture Steel Horse- <br /> shoe~ in the B-1 Business District at 6250 Front Street NW; <br /> Cas~ Of Mr. ~ichard Duqgan: <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that Mr. Duggan is requesting a permit to manufacture <br />steel horseshoes at his business at 6250 Front Street NW which is located <br />in the B-1 Business District. Neighboring properties expressed concern <br />for noise levels. Planning and Zoning recommended approval of the request <br />with terms to be included in the permit that would require review of the <br />permit upon receipt of complaints and revocation of the permit if complaint <br />situations cannot be resolved. <br /> <br />Mr. Duggan stated that vibrations from the operation are neglible when the <br />drop forge hammer is properly based. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilm~m~er Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Cox to <br />adopt Findings of Fact0156, amended as follows, relating to Mr. Richard <br />Duggan's request for a conditional use permit: <br /> <br />Add Item #22 to read as follows: 'That the hours of operation shall <br />be 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember DeLuca inquired if noise levels should <br />be addressed in the findings of fact. Councilmember Pearson stated that <br />Planning and Zoning felt that the permit would be subject to revocation if <br />noise levels exceeded State standards.
