professional services were previously reviewed by Council and forwarded to
FAA and MN ~DoT; there have been some revisions to that agreement in format
but not in content.

Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to
adopt Resolution ~/87-75 authorizing the Mayor and City Administrator to
enter into agreements with Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. for
professional services. (Please refer to resolution file for Resolution ~/87-
75).

Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox,
DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None.

Update On Photo Copier Status:

Mr. Hartley stated that one of the office's xerox machines is on a lease-
purchase agreement and there are about 18 payments remaining; the machine
is not operable for Ramsey's purposes. Mr. Hartley stated that there is a
buyer for the machine and requested Council permission to sell it.

Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca
authorizing the City Administrator to sell the xerox machine and terminate
the lease with Xerox.

Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox,
DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None.

Request To Excavate And Remove Additional Fill: Case Of Tom

Mr. Tom Sauter stated that his firm has deviated from the approved grading
plan; is in the process of preparing a revised grading plan; and is
requesting approval to remove another 1500 yards of fill material prior to
that revised plan being submitted and approved.

Mr. Raatikka stated that Mr. Sauter violated the approved grading plan late
last fall and a stop order was placed on operations. In reviewing the
area, some of the cuts exceed agreement terms by 6 feet; there is enough
fill material left on the property to take care of the deep cuts. Mr.
Raatikka stated that he would also like to see a snow fence put up to keep
out trespassers as it could be a dangerous situation.

Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to
approve Mr. Tom Sauter's request to remove up to 2,000 yards of fill from
his property by Saturday, April 18, after which time no more fill will be
removed until revised gradings plans have been submitted and approved.

Further Discussion: Mayor Reimann inquired if Mr. Sauter will be putting
up snowfence to keep trespassers off the property. Mr. Sauter stated that
he will.

Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox,
DeLuca and Pearson.
