Voting No: None. <br /> <br />County Commissioner Haas-Steffen reported that the ElS has been approved at <br />the Federal and State level. <br /> <br />Case #1: Agprove Plans And Specifications And Set Bid' ~at'e For <br /> ImDrovement Project ~87-19 (Indu'strial Area Sewer And Water): <br /> <br />Mr. Raatiikka reported that there are some alignment problems and requested <br />that Council table this case until May 12 and that staff be allowed to <br />pursue discussions with the DNR to change lot sizes in the Critical Rivers <br />area. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Cox to <br />table this case until May 12, 1987. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mr. Terry Velasco, property owner on the south side of the proposed project <br />area, requested that the road improvements be done simultaneously with the <br />sewer and water project in order to avoid duplication of improvements. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka replied that the sewer and water project is due to start in <br />July with completion in November, which is too late in the year to attempt <br />blacktopping. <br /> <br />Case #5: Storm Sewer District' Policy: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />adopt Resolution #87-90 establishing a policy for the use of the Rum River <br />and Mississippi River taxing district revenues.
