utilities will be available to that property. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka replied that Anoka would have to designate their portion of <br />the road as MSA also. <br /> <br />Councilmember DeLuca stated that the sewer and water is intended to attract <br />development; an MSA road should be pursued to further those efforts. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley reported that there are some development plans being discussed; <br />there ~hould be more information for Council within a month. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox inquired if the affected property owners are in agreement <br />with the project as proposed. <br /> <br />Mr. Elofson said he believes so but Mr. Winslow has not had an opportunity <br />to review the final alignments. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that Mr. Winslow's surveyor has indicated he will <br />follow the City's alignments; minor adjustments can be made. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to adopt <br />Resolution #87-94 approving plans and specifications and ordering <br />advertisement for bids for the extension of municipal sewer and water to <br />the Industrial Area. (Please refer to resolution file for Resolution ~87- <br />94). <br /> <br />Further Discussion. Councilmember DeLuca inquired if this action is <br />contingent upon alignments coinciding with Mr. Winslow's development plans. <br />Mr. Hartley replied that major differences are subject to discussion; <br />adjustments can be made to address minor differences . <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Pearson, Cox <br />and DeLuca. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Sorteberg. <br /> <br />MAYORANp, COUNCIL INPUT (CONTINUED); <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox noted that the road in River's Bend Park has been graded <br />and Class V applied. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann directed staff to forward a letter to County Commissioner <br />Haas-Steffen informing her that Ramsey cannot respond by May 22nd regarding <br />Hwy. #47 realignment as Council will not be addressing it until their <br />regularly scheduled meeting on May 26. <br /> <br />ADJ OIJRNM~I~T <br /> <br />Motion by Ceuncilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />adjourn the special City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
