Rd. #5 and/or Hwy. #47. During
the process a question has been raised regarding what happens when the
traffic from either Cry. Rd. #5 or Hwy. #47, or the two corridors combined,
decides to travel on Dysprosium instead of Hwy. #47 as it does now. At the
same time, Council is looking at future connections to Dysprosium from the
south with Anoka. Anoka has constructed a bridge across the railroad
tracks in the vicinity of Thurston Avenue; plats are being established that
connect Dysprosium to that bridge. That overpass is the only overpass this
side of the Rum River and it is highly suspicious that it is going to be a
major corridor. Council decided to consider: if existing easements are
large enough should Dysprosium be designated as State highway because of
the traffic flow; the cost of any additional easement needed; and whether
or not to address potential traffic problems now or at a later date.

Bob Hellem- 5380 141st - "Many of us in the development are truly
concerned regarding the matter of the subject I'll refer to as the
'rerouting of 47' for lack of a better term.
