PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a special meeting on Tuesday, June 9, <br />1987 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Arnie Cox <br />Councilmember Steve DeLuca <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br /> <br />CALL %0. DER <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the special Council meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. and <br />led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mr. Art Raudio - Stated that he and Mr. Richard Ranelle have been to <br />Planning and Zoning for a minor subdivision and site plan review <br />respectively. He and Mr. Ranelle assumed their cases would be on this <br />special meeting agenda for Council approval. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann replied that Mr. Raudio's and Mr. Ranelle's cases would <br />normally be placed on regular meeting agendas the 4th Tuesday of the month; <br />the special Council meetings are for special cases that come up. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox suggested that Council add Mr. Raudio and Mr. Ranelle to <br />this special meeting agenda because the requests appear to be economic <br />development growth related; Council need not take action on the case if it <br />is not appropriate to do so. <br /> <br />Mr. Tom Sauter - Stated that his revised grading plan has been reviewed by <br />the Planning and Zoning Commission and he is requesting Council review of <br />it. <br /> <br />APPROVAL 0% A~ENDA <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox noted that the Community Picnic is scheduled for June 14 <br />and the RYAA is selling raffle tickets. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox stated that River's Bend Park was dedicated for public <br />use and not necessarily park use. A portion of that area is intended as a <br />location for a YMCA community center; that area was included in the LAWCON <br />Special City Council/June 9, 1987 <br /> <br />Page 3 of 12 <br /> <br /> <br />
