PKOCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, July 28, <br />1987 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Arnie Cox <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember Steve DeLuca <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />City Attorney Bill Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO O.RI)ER <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the regular Council meeting to order at 7:42 p.m. and <br />led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN I~U~ <br /> <br />Keith Sauer - 16045 Ironstone Street NW - Inquired as to the status of the <br />proposed improvements to Gateway North Airport; what will improvements to <br />the airport do to Ramsey's tax program; what will the town gain by the <br />airport. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley replied that most of the information regarding the proposed <br />airport improvements can be found at City Hall and the public can read it <br />at their leisure or discuss the issue with himself. There will be a public <br />hearing regarding the proposed airport zoning ordinance on July 29 at 7:30 <br />p.m. at City Hall. <br /> <br />Glen Austin - 14905 Willemite Street NW - Stated that the sealcoating <br />recently done in his area was of very poor quality. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka replied that he will inspect the sealcoating job <br />done in the vicinity of 149th and Willemite. <br /> <br />Keith Saner - Referred to the mining and grading operation at 149th and <br />Ramsey Blvd. and inquired if the fill obtained from General Mills that is <br />being deposited at the site is hazardous in any way. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann stated that the subject grading operation is Case #6 on the <br />agenda and Mr. Sauer's concerns can be addressed at that time. <br /> <br />William Walsh - 15800 Nowthen Blvd. NW - Stated his concern with vehicular <br /> City Council/July 28, 1987 <br /> <br />Page 4 of 23 <br /> <br /> <br />
