He stated that the Council has tried to keep the people <br />absolutely informed by use of the ABC Newspaper, the Elk River Star News, and <br />the Ramsey Resident which is mailed to all postal patrons. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley added that it is the foremost responsibility of the City staff to <br />use the various means available to keep all citizens informed about City issues. <br />Councilmember Cox stated that if anyone is not getting the Ramsey Resident, let <br />the City Councilmembers know because we want you to have that source of informa- <br />tion. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to close the <br />public hearing to consider adoption of the Airport Zoning Ordinance for Gateway <br />North Industrial Airport. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca, and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />Consider Establishing Development District No. 2 and Tax Increment Financing <br /> <br />District No. 3. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that the proposed establishing of a District and expanding <br />the Development District is for the purpose of increasing tax revenues from <br />development of proposed projects in that area to pay for additional projects. <br />Mayor Reimann asked if anyone present would like to comment on this issue. No <br />one responded. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember DeLucca to close the <br />public hearing to consider establishing Development District No. 2 and Tax <br />Increment Financing District No. 3. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
