PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a special meeting on Tuesday, September <br />15, 1987 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember Steve DeLuca <br />Councilmember Arnie Cox <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the special City Council meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. <br />and led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVAL QF AGENDA <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox noted that he will be addressing the Rum River Bridge <br />Crossing issue during Mayor and Council Input. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />approve the agenda as submitted. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Discuss Acqui~itipn Of Easements South Of U.S. Highway ~10 For <br /> Th~ Industrial Sewer Pro~ect: <br /> <br />Property owners present for this case were Bill Dickenson and Mr. & Mrs. <br />Ed Hamilton. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that the last action Council took on this subject was <br />to authorize continuing negotiations for easements and commencing with <br />condemnation action. The City retained an appraisor; the appraisal is <br />complete and it values the land at $25,000/acre. Mr. Goodrich stated that <br />this meeting was called to give Council the opportunity to review the <br />appraisals and determine whether or not to make offers for easements based <br />City Council/September 15, 1987 <br /> <br />Page 2 of 8 <br /> <br /> <br />
