Tree Preservation Ordinance should not require the establishment of certain staff positions to <br />enforcc the ordinance; staffing necessary to enforce City Code is management's responsibility. <br /> <br />It was determined that the Task Force would meet again at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February <br />12, 2003 to continue the review of the draft ordinance. If satisfactory progress is not made on <br />the 12th, thc Task Force should be prepared to meet again at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February <br />15, 2003. <br /> <br />A brief discussion ensued regarding the concept of a tree bank. <br /> <br />Ms. Frolik was directed to have the changes made this evening to the draft tree preservation <br />ordinance to the task force member by their February 12 meeting. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Committee Member Sitz and seconded by Committee Member Connolly to adjourn <br />the ~neeting of the Task Force. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Vice-Chairperson Max, Committee Members Sitz, Connolly and <br />Dvorak. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson McDilda, Committee Members Marshall and <br />Reeve. <br /> <br />ACTION ITEMS RESULTING FROM MEETING <br /> <br />· Mr. McDilda to include the January 6, 11, 16 and February 3 meeting minutes on the <br /> February 20 agenda for approval. <br /> <br />Bruce Bacon to open up City Hall at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12 for the special <br />EPTF meeting; check with the Task Force if they are going to meet on Saturday the 15th and <br />if they need you to open up City Hall. <br /> <br />· Ms. Frolik to have the changes made to the draft tree preservation ordinance to all of the task <br /> force members before their February 12 meeting. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 8:45 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />Sylvia Frolik <br />Community Development Director <br /> <br /> <br />
