CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br />EM ERGENCY OPERATIONS PLAN <br />REVISION: 0 <br /> <br />PLANNING §ECTION <br /> <br />III. <br /> <br />AVAIl,ABLE RESOURCES AND SUPPORTING AGENCIES <br /> <br />Notification and warning will consist of assistance from the Minnesota State Patrol and <br />Anoka County Warning System. <br /> <br />Radiological and HAZMAT will consist of Ramsey Fire Department and a North <br />Metro CAT team along with the Minnesota State Duty Officer. <br /> <br />C. Information Services will be coordinated by City of Ramsey staff. <br /> <br />Mapping and documentation will be coordinated by the Engineering department and <br />tile City Clerk's office. <br /> <br />Resources will be coordinated by the Park and Recreation Director and other department <br />staff members. <br /> <br />[7, <br /> <br />~ngineerine will be coordinated by the City Engineer and Assistant City Engineer and <br />other members of their staff. <br /> <br />Damage assessment will be coordinated by the Chief Building Official with assistance <br />of the City Engineer and Anoka County Assessing Department. <br /> <br />IV. <br /> <br />POI,ICIES AND PROCEDURES <br /> <br />Warnhtg attd notification, radiological and hazmat, information services, mapping <br />and documentation, resources, engineering, and damage assessment will be <br />responsible for developing policy and procedures for operation under emergency <br />conditions including personnel call-in, reporting systems, and so forth. <br /> <br />Bo <br /> <br />Warning attd notification The Anoka County Warning Point is Central <br />Communications, which has a 24-hour warning capability. The Anoka County Warning <br />Officer is the Central Communication's supervisor on duty who is responsible for <br />ensuring all notification and warnings are properly received and disseminated. The <br />Warning Officer for the City of Ramsey is the Chief of Police or Senior Officer on duty. <br /> <br />For all emergencies, the affected municipality(s) will be notified by radio, <br />activate sirens by radio, and notify key officials via Central Communications. <br /> <br />At 1:00 p.m. the first Wednesday of each month the Anoka County <br />Warning Point will test Ramsey's outdoor warning sirens. <br /> <br />51 <br /> <br /> <br />
