CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br />EMERGENCY OPERATIONS PLAN <br />REVISION: 0 <br /> <br />LOGISTICS SECTION <br /> <br />III. <br /> <br />AVAILABLE RESOURCES AND SUPPORTING AGENCIES <br /> <br />A. Conareeate Care <br /> <br />Potential registration centers, limited congregate care facilities, and sites for <br />limited mass feedings are listed in the City of Ramsey Resource Manual. <br /> <br />The American Red Cross has shelter agreements with facilities (see City of <br />Ramsey Resource Manual); generally school buildings, within the City of <br />Ramsey. The local Red Cross Chapter has limited personnel, but will be <br />augmented by the state level of Red Cross (24-hour on-call duty personnel - <br />refer to City of Ramsey Resource Manual). <br /> <br />B. Health and Medical <br /> <br />Hospital Care - Injured victims will be transported to local hospitals. <br />Responding EMS personnel will determine if additional hospital facilities are <br />required and make the necessary arrangements. <br /> <br />Ambulance Service - Local ambulance Services will be used to transport <br />disaster victims within the City of Ramsey. Responding EMS personnel will <br />determine if additional ambulance services are required and make the necessary <br />contacts. <br /> <br />First Responder Emergency Medical Care - The Ramsey Fire Department and <br />Ramsey Police Department will be available to provide immediate medical care <br />to disaster victims suffering from major and/or minor injuries. <br /> <br />Emergency Mortuary Operations - These operations will be the responsibility <br />of the Anoka County Medical Examiner. <br /> <br />Health Threats - Serious potential or actual health problems (epidemics, food, <br />and/or water contamination, etc) associated with a disaster will be the <br />responsibility of the Anoka County and Minnesota Department of Health <br />Divisions. <br /> <br />Inquiry and Referral Service - This service will be the responsibility of the <br />Anoka County Medical Examiner and Red Cross Divisions. <br /> <br />56 <br /> <br /> <br />
