CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br />EMERGENCY OPERATIONS PLAN <br />REVISION: 0 <br /> <br />FINANCE SECTION <br /> <br />PURPOSE <br /> <br />The purpose of this section is to provide management of emergency spending, tracking incident <br />costs, and reimbursement accounting following an emergency in the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />I1. <br /> <br />RES PONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />The Emergency Funding Coordination branch will be responsible for developing and <br />coordinating a financial plan to meet incidents and resource needs. This includes <br />facilitating or coordinating cash donations. <br /> <br />The Emergency Contracting branch will be responsible for financial matters involving <br />vendor contracts. <br /> <br />The Compensation and Claims branch is responsible for financial concerns resulting <br />from property damage, injury, or fatalities at the incident. <br /> <br />111. <br /> <br />AVAILABI. E RESOURCES AND SUPPORTING AGENCIES <br /> <br />Emergency Funding Coordination, Emergency Contracting, and Compensation attd <br />Claims will be coordinated by the City of Ramsey Finance Director and other staff <br />members. <br /> <br />IV. <br /> <br />POLICIES AND PROCEDURES <br /> <br />If emergency conditions warrant, the Mayor of the City of Ramsey or Mayor Pro Tern <br />can declare a state of elnergency for up to 72-hours. The Mayor and City Council will <br />determine the level of spending expended on the disaster. <br /> <br />Emergency funding efforts will be initiated as soon as possible following the occurrence <br />of a disaster. The Finance Department will be responsible for overseeing this branch. <br /> <br />The different branches will be responsible for developing policies and procedures for <br />operation under emergency conditions. <br /> <br />60 <br /> <br /> <br />
