Councilme~nber introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 3D/I AND BKV GROUP PROPOSAL FOR <br />SCHEMATIC DESIGN AND VISIONING FOR CITY HALL AND POLICE <br />STATION AND AUTHORIZE AN INTER-FUND LOAN FROM THE <br />EQUIPMENT REVOLVING FUND <br /> <br /> WItEREAS, a Space Needs Assessment has been completed for the City Hall <br />Police Station project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, preliminary planning, including the development of building <br />schemes, h~as been completed; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff continues to work on the analysis for the financing of the City <br />Hall and Police Station project and anticipates completion of that work no later than April <br />of 2004; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, to provide for continued design work for the City Hall and Police <br />Station project, staff has received a proposal from BKV Group and 3D/I for schematic <br />design and visioning. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY~ ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA~ as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes proceeding with the <br />proposal from 3D/I and BKV Group for Schematic Design and Visioning for City <br />Hall and Police Station at a cost not to exceed $188,000. <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes the use of an inter-fund <br />loan from the Equipment Revolving Fund to be reimbursed when the bonds are <br />issued for the project. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmernber , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 27th day of January 2004. <br /> <br /> <br />
