5.01: Public Hearing: Consider a Recommendation on Resolutions #14-10-202 and #14-10- 203 Approving a Conditional Use Permit for Motor Vehicle Sales at 6650 Highway 10 NW; Case of Ramsey Pawn, LLC Public Hearing Chairperson Levine called the public hearing to order at 7:03 p.m. Presentation Community Development Director Gladhill presented the staff report stating the purpose of this case was to recommend an action to the City Council regarding a request from Ramsey Pawn, LLC to perform motor vehicle sales on the property located at 6650 Highway 10 NW. Ramsey Pawn, LLC currently operates a retail pawn store on the Subject Property. Ramsey Pawn desires to obtain a Motor Vehicle Sales License to sell motor vehicles they ultimately take possession of. Staff reviewed the request in further detail and recommended the Commission adopt the Conditional Use Permit. Citizen Innut Commissioner Maul asked how many vehicles could be sold on the site. Community Development Director Gladhill explained that the Conditional Use Permit would allow for six vehicles to be sold at the property. Motion by Commissioner Bauer, seconded by Commissioner VanScoy, to close the public hearing. Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners Bauer, VanScoy, Maul, and Nosan. Voting No: None. Absent: Brauer. Chairperson Levine closed the public hearing closed at 7:05 p.m. Commission Business Motion by Commissioner VanScoy, seconded by Commissioner Maul, to recommend that City Council adopt Resolution #14-10-202 adopting Findings of Fact for Ramsey Pawn, LLC for motor vehicle sales at 6650 Highway 10 NW. Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners VanScoy, Maul, Bauer, and Nosan. Voting No: None. Absent: Brauer. Motion by Commissioner VanScoy, seconded by Commissioner Maul, to recommend that City Council adopt Resolution #14-10-203 approving a Conditional Use Permit for Ramsey Pawn, LLC for motor vehicle sales at 6650 Highway 10 NW.
