The fec established for these services in 1997 was $3,000. Since that time the fee has been <br />increased to the cra'rent rate of $3,500. The fee has not been adjusted since 2001. T.C. Field has <br />requested an increase for the 2004 agreement year. If Council wished to consider a fee increase <br />for T.C. Field, staff would recommend an increase of $250, which would reflect approximately a <br />three percent increase for the past two years. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that T.C. Fields has done an excellent job working with the City. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to adopt Resolution <br />#03-12-337 to increase the fee to T.C. Field, the City's agent of record services for <br />property/casualty insurance, in the amount of $250. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Pearson, Kurak, Cook, Elvig, <br />Strommcn, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #6: Clandestine Drug Labs Ordinance <br /> <br />Police Chief Way stated that the City Council introduced the Ordinance on December 9th and it is <br />now ready fbr adoption. <br /> <br />Councilrnember Zimmerman inquired as to what would happen if they had a situation where it <br />would cost more to clean up the property then what the property is worth. <br /> <br />Police Chief Way replied that that could happen, but there is help through the State. <br /> <br />Councilmember Strommen noted that the EPA also has grant funds available to assist with <br />property clean up. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to adopt Ordinance #03- <br />52 amending City Code to add Section 5.17 Clandestine Drug Labs. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig aye <br />Councihnember Strommen aye <br />Councihnernber Kurak aye <br />Councilmember Cook aye <br />Councilmember Zimmerman aye <br />Councilmember Pearson aye <br />Mayor Gamec aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />City Council/December 16, 2003 <br /> Page 12 of 33 <br /> <br /> <br />
