Lighting. <br /> <br />Lighting used to illuminate an off-street parking area, sign or <br />structure, shall be arranged to deflect light away from adjacent <br />residential districts or public streets. Bulbs emitting in excess of <br />3000 lumens (150 watts) shall be directed so that the bulb is not <br />visible from off the property where the light soUrce is located. <br /> <br />The tv?e ,.,~ i-g ........................... The purpose of this section is to encourage the <br /> development of' hiah-qualit,v, diverse multiple-dwelling structures in the <br /> City of Ramsev while permittin~ flexibility in the development process. <br />ii. General standards. The requirements in this section apply to all <br /> multiple-dwelling structures, as defined under Permitted Uses in this <br /> <br />Sa '~. <br /> ~:cm n (Subd. 2a). <br /> <br /> The type of building materials used on exterior walls of all <br /> <br />structures in the R-2 Residential District shall be face brick: natural <br /> <br />stone; stucco; aluminum, steel, or vinyl siding; wood; masonite <br />products: or other compatible residential materials that may be <br />gvproved bv the City. The entire exterior buildimz finish of <br /> <br />multiple-family buildings shall consist of a minimum of 35% face <br />brick, natural stone, or stucco. Exterior Insulation and Finish <br /> <br />.Systems (EIFS) material is prohibited. <br /> <br /> a. '-Phis requirement may be reduced or waived if the City <br /> Council determines that the proposed development contains <br /> architectural details or materials that exceed the intent of <br /> <br /> this Section. <br /> <br />iVlultiple-ihlnilv buildings facing County highways. State <br />hi~,hwavs, or MSA roads shall have rear-loaded garages. <br /> <br />There should not be more than a one-story difference between a <br /> <br />multiple-family building and structures, either on an adiacem lot or <br />l']ankina the opposite side of the street.
