P52 <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:13 p.m. <br /> <br /> Presentation <br /> <br />Police Chief Way stated that Todd Plaisted, William Christian and Ricky Schroeder, known as <br />Ramsey Spirits, LLC, d/b/a MGM Wine & Spirits, have properly applied for an off-sale <br />intoxicating liquor license at 7129 Highway #10 NW, Ramsey. This is the current site of Judy's <br />Discount Liquor. This is not a request for a new business, it is the sale of a current business. A <br />background check has been completed and everything was found to be in order. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to close the public' <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Kurak, Cook, Elvig, Pearson, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 7:15 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Action <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the City Council was called back to order at 7:15 p.m. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak inquired if the existing liquor license for the site becomes null and void. <br /> <br />Police Chief Way explained that the previous owner could move their business into a different <br />location in the City, but they would have to apply for the new location. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman inquired if the applicant was aware of the future Highway #10 <br />plans. <br /> <br />The applicants replied that they were aware of the future plans for Highway #10. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to approve an off- <br />sale intoxicating liquor license application for Ramsey Spirits, LLC, d/b/a MGM Wine & Spirits, <br />contingent upon the required insurance information being received. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Kurak, Strommen, Cook, <br />Elvig, Pearson, and Zimmerman.
